In the hope of adding more back links to the Kelkyron site I have decided to create online portfolio on sites that will offer it for free. I know one not so long time ago where I have created a personal portfolio. Most of the online portfolio’s I know will have a certain layout and maximum number of uploads. You will have the option to upload more but you have to upgrade your membership for a fee. The good thing about having image upload limits is you have to choose your best works.
carbonmade.com
Carbonmade will allow you to create up to 5 projects and 35 images. Just divide those 35 free image upload into those 5 projects. You will have an about page where you can add all your contact information except for your website address (not so good for my seo efforts, but marketing will do), there will also be an option if you are available or not. You can enter your areas of expertise and skills. Visit the portfolio
figdig.com
Figdig will allow you to upload up to 8 images but it has a lot of room for text information. You can set 3 headings of your own with description. I just did an overview of the company, statement and services offered. What I like about this site is the ability to add your url (wink, wink). Visit the portfolio
sparkio.com
Sparkio will only allow you to upload up to 3 images. But you can have more pages, bio, contact, home and portfolio. You cannot insert text to your homepage, you will just select from the 3 uploaded images which will go to the homepage. At the bio page you can insert text with links (wink3x). Visit the portfolio
voodoochilli.net
Voodoochilli will allow you to upload up to 7 images for free. You have an option to upgrade either by paying, donating, downloading and installing something or through points and in order to earn points you have to be an active participant of the site. Well, I don’t need an upgrade as long as there is a link to the main site, that will do the trick. Visit the portfolio
Of all these free online portfolios my best choice is Figdig because of the number of images to upload, the freedom to add a lot of textual information, the ability to add a website url, and the professional layout of the portfolio. My second best is carbonmade because it has way more images to upload than the other sites I’ve mentioned.
