I thought I might share with you guys the logo design stages that one of our logo design projects went through. The design brief asked us to design a logo for an online company that sells popular imported fitness, wine coolers, furniture and eventually other stuff. The color preference of the client was red, blue, yellow, green and black. The logo feel should be corporate, fun and high-tech and should cater to 35 to 45 year old’s. The project is Deluxe Products for a client of Impact Logos, one of our client based in Australia.
The client also showed us his current logo.
We began by doing initial studies. We rarely use the pen and paper sketches and we jump right ahead in front of the computer. Sometimes if I have an idea that I find difficult to visualize on the computer I do sketches first.
Below are our preliminary designs but not all of them passed sending the client. From the 6 initial designs I chose 3, which are the ones to the right, to be submitted to the client.
The client chose the blue one at the top right portion of the example below but requested to change the angle of the tilt, I complied and submitted the revised version. But the client later on decided that they want the logo on the second row to the right but requested for a change in color.
